Empowering Black Women
Legacy League of Black Women is dedicated to empowering, uplifting, and uniting Black women through collective action, mutual support, and transformative leadership. Our organization strives to create a powerful network of Black women dedicated to advancing social, economic, and political change, and to fostering environments where Black women’s voices, experiences, and achievements are celebrated and amplified. Through collaboration, education, and mentorship, we aim to build a resilient community that champions equity, justice, and opportunity for all Black women, cultivating the strength, wellness, and prosperity needed to thrive individually and collectively.
Our Initiatives
At Legacy League of Black Women, we offer a range of initiatives to support and empower Black women in various stages of life.

Legacy Builder Freedom School
Legacy Builders Freedom School is a free, culturally grounded educational program and an initiative of the Legacy League of Black Women. Inspired by the Freedom Schools of the Civil Rights Movement, the program serves students in grades 6–12 and centers African American history and culture while building literacy, leadership, and community awareness.
The school officially launches on February 21, 2026, helping young people develop strong identities and lasting legacies.
